UMH World Championship

Hope everyone is getting fired up for the "world show". Things here at Rockin Ridge are cra....zy trying to get everything ridden and ready for the big week. The show looks to be a great show as the classes have been really well planned I think. The youth will be having a fun show with lot of FUN classes on Sunday, so everyone come out and have fun watching the youth have fun!

Brooke is busy designing the barn decorations with Dick. So don't forget to bring the
decorations if you have a barn.

Rockin Ridge and Kaylee Tipton's first Blog

My name is Kaylee Tipton I am 13 years old and I have shown Mountain Horses all my life, my family own's and train's Mountain Horses and have since 1989!
My dad Derick Tipton is the trainer at Rockin Ridge Farm in Bardstown,
KY! I have been at Rockin Ridge since 2006! :)

Historically the Mountain Horse breed was more of a
diverse breed, between Morgans, Pasifino's, and Tennessee
Walking Horses but now as we have got larger we are more of
our own breed or bloodline! We began with what we wanted the horse to
represent, temprement, 4- beat gait, and the distinct personality
and stayed true with that breeding therefor the "Mountain Horses"
are there own breed!
